Does this happen to you? Today I boarded a flight to Seattle and...
- Struck up conversation with both people sitting next to me. Jamie is a super cool youth leader at a church -- has hung out at Princeton seminary, and Mahnaz knows one of my friends from Princeton, and works at Intel.
- On the airplane, met Baljeet Singh, who introduced himself as "Hey Savraj! We met many years ago!" Super cool guy that works at google as a product manager. He came up to my row and talked to me -- I didn't recognize him!
- Went to a coworking space in Seattle, met the manager, Susan. Susan knows Pennington, NJ -- in fact, she grew up in Yardley, and is best friends with one of my classmates who I saw at my 10th reunion just two weeks ago!
Ok, let's rewind to a few weeks ago, when I was flying back from the west coast on trip #1.
- Between connections, I ran into an auntie at the airport who I hadn't seen in years. She bought me lunch and we chatted about the good old days when I was in middle school! I was surprised she recognized me!
Now rewind a little less -- flying back from west coast trip #2.
- On the flight 1 of 2, I was joined by a friend, Baban Singh -- a Sikh doctor from California -- great guy. He was randomly on the same flight. On flight 2 of 2, I met up with Eric Kutner, a Princeton grad who I met in the last year at entrepreneurship events. He lives local to where I live -- so he and his brother gave me a ride home! How fortunate!
